This privacy policy applies to the trade.intercom-it.com website, the Intercom IT Trade Android and iOS app and their shared account services. The controller is Intercom IT GmbH, identified below. For privacy questions, requests concerning your personal data and technical support, use our contact form.

The website processes account and business-profile details for registration, sign-in and the services you use. Contact forms process the name, email, company, telephone number, subject and message you provide, as applicable, to answer your enquiry. Newsletter subscriptions use your email address and subscription preferences. Required fields are identified in the relevant form.

Website sessions and cookies support sign-in, security and language preferences. Our own website statistics service records visit information such as IP address, browser and device information, language, referring and visited URLs, visit times and approximate country or city information where available. Visits may be associated with your account when you are signed in. These records support website statistics and technical operation. Cookie controls, server logs, newsletter processing and your rights are described below. Mobile-only functions are identified separately in this policy.

• Account data: name, email, username and account ID, authentication information, company, selected equipment interests and language preferences. We use these to create and manage accounts, authenticate users and provide the service. Account credentials are required. Existing business profile details may also be displayed in the app.
• Messages and attachments: messages to our sales or support team and the photos, camera images and documents you choose to send. We store these to provide the conversation and handle your enquiries. Sending messages and attachments is optional. Message text may be processed by our locally hosted translation service to provide multilingual conversations.
• Business actions: bids, suggested prices and order requests, linked to your account. These are stored to process your requests. Submitting them is optional. The app concerns physical IT equipment; it does not collect card or bank-account details for in-app payment.
• Problem reports: the subject and description you submit, your account details, app version, platform, device model and language. Reports are emailed to technical support to investigate and fix problems. Sending a report is optional; this is not automatic crash reporting.
• Notification identifiers: push tokens, platform, notification preferences, language and app version. We use these for notifications about messages and business actions. Notifications can be switched on or off in Profile. In the current app, a token may still be requested and registered with notifications disabled; switching off notifications is not the same as deleting the token.

The app does not collect your address book, calendar, GPS location, browsing history, health data or audio recordings. Offer searches are performed locally. It does not use an advertising identifier or an advertising analytics SDK. The website's separate processing practices are described below.

Data is accessed by authorized personnel handling accounts, sales, support and technical operations. Hosting, email and notification providers process the data needed to provide those services. Android notifications use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging; iOS notifications use Apple Push Notification service. See Firebase privacy information and Apple's privacy policy. The web deletion form uses Cloudflare Turnstile through DatsoShield to prevent abuse; Cloudflare processes verification and connection information. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

We do not sell app user data or provide it to advertising partners. Data may be disclosed where required by law. Connections from the website and app to our services use HTTPS/TLS. Sign-in credentials saved on your device use the platform's protected credential storage. Access to account conversations and attachments requires authentication.

Account and service records are stored beyond a single request for as long as needed to operate the account and handle its conversations and business requests. Support reports and legally required business records may need to be retained separately. Use the contact form linked above for information about a particular record and its retention or to request deletion, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Delete your account in Profile - Account management - Delete account, or without installing the app at trade.intercom-it.com/account-deletion. Sign in with your Trade credentials and explicitly confirm deletion. Deletion is irreversible. The routine removes the user account, profile, the account link in conversations, authentication and push tokens and account-linked app records. Order records are anonymized; shared catalogue data and other customers' records remain. The confirmation email address is kept in the delivery queue until the confirmation is sent.

Your message text, its translations and your uploaded attachment files are deleted. Anonymous “Message deleted” placeholders may remain in the other participant's conversation, along with that participant's messages. The link to your account is removed. Failed file removal is queued for retry. Copies of reports already emailed to support and existing backups are separate storage; account deletion does not immediately erase every copy there. Use our contact form for requests concerning those copies or legally retained records. Administrative and shared review accounts cannot use self-service deletion; contact support.

You can choose not to send messages, photos, documents, reports or business requests. Camera and notification access use the device's permission controls. You can request access, correction or deletion of personal data and exercise the rights described below. Intercom IT Trade is intended for adult business users, not children.

In server log files, the website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically sends to us. These are:

In order to send our newsletter, we need an e-mail address from you. Verification of the specified e-mail address is necessary and the receipt of the newsletter is to be agreed. Supplementary data are not collected or are voluntary. The use of the data takes place exclusively for the dispatch of the newsletter.

The data provided in the newsletter registration are processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). A revocation of your already given consent is possible at any time.
